A great recipe to enjoy for breakfast with some coffee or after a meal as a dessert!

Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening

2/3 c. white sugar

2 eggs, well beaten

1 c. mashed bananas

1 3/4 c. flour

2 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Instructions

Cream sugar and shortening, then add eggs and bananas.

Combine dry ingredients and nuts, and add to wet ingredients.

Mix very well.

Pour into greased loaf pan and bake in 350 degree oven. ( 1 large loaf=1 hour 10 minutes, 3 small loaves-40 to 45 minutes, 6 mini loaves= 30 minutes.
